🎤 And now for something completely different…

Most people know me as a PR strategist, but I’m also a long‑time stand‑up comedy nerd – the kind who’ll travel across countries to see Sam Morril, Chelsea Handler and Jimmy Carr in 6 months, and dabbles in comedy writing and standup in their spare time. So I created something new (and yes, a passion project):

✨ A training session for CEOs, founders and execs that blends confident speaking, presentation skills and media insight, with just the right dose of comic relief – especially important as we’re living in pretty grim times.

If you’re a startup leader, agency exec, or anyone who ends up behind a mic – at a panel, pitch, networking event or all‑hands – this is for you if you want to:

·      Nail your next panel or presentation and drive engagement
·      Speak with clarity and impact in high‑stakes meetings or interviews – and handle unexpected questions while building rapport
·      Skip the snooze‑fest of standard “presentation skills” training and learn how to use humour appropriately to evoke emotion
·      Ditch the corporate script and develop a distinct voice that actually sounds human (crucial in the age of AI)

This is also inspired by ongoing feedback from founders and execs: stand‑up comics have something leaders want – that mix of confidence, clarity, timing, and knowing how to own the room. Used well, humour makes leaders more compelling and relatable – and even more credible when things go sideways – leading to stronger public speaking, better interviews, and presentations people remember.

đź’ˇ Expect practical tips from years in PR and comms, and training – with rhythm, light role-play and a few laughs built in.

You’ll show up with confidence, personality and empathy. Let’s make public speaking something you actually look forward to.

đź“© DM me to book a session for you or your team – or share with someone who’d love this.

Does it sound useful (or terrifying 👀)? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Full post here https://shorturl.at/Owh3o.
